The brief was to create a fully accessible farmhouse that didn’t look like one, with sweeping views across the client’s farm and enough space for six large dogs. After many design iterations, we achieved a home that feels natural and unadapted — a modern barn with rustic charm, huge vaulted spaces, and fireplaces. Built with SIPs panels and powered by a large solar array, the house is nearly off-grid and full of personality.
